Simply Biscotti in Ottawa

Ordered and paid for 2 cannolis and received only one in the box. Had to walk back to the Cafe and get the second one. I get that things can get mixed up when it's busy but I was the only customer being served and there were two people behind the counter working. It's not the 4$ or time wasted that matters, it's the principle that you should be diligent in your work. Customers don't appreciate being fooled like this.

Fast becoming my fav coffee spot in Ottawa. Great selection. And don't let the size of the place fool you, there is always seating upstairs.

I find it a little expensive we only bought two pannies 1 chicken culet and 1 Italian capicola and Mortadella panini with 2 eclairs and it came to $32.oo it was good but expensive for me it's a treat yes but maybe once a year

This is my new favourite lunch spot on Preston. Always such friendly service and the food is quick and delicous. Don't even get me started on their desserts! 🤤

Lobster tail and latte was great! Friendly and accommodating staff, but it took FOREVER to get the wifi. I recommend getting a stronger wifi

Good. Very sweet. Suitable for children, and for young girls'parties. I recommend you to sit on the second floor and see the scenery through the window.

Delicious food, tasty bake goods and good drinks. Gluten Free available. I like that their desserts are not super sweet but rich and tasty. They can also make less sweet mocha drink which I really like.

Ordered 2 different pastries. They both had a sharp freezer burn taste. The after taste lingered in my mouth for over an hour. Disgusting!! Not good for a so called Italian Cafe.

Such a beautiful coffee & pastry shop. I've been to their old location at Richmond few years ago, and to their other location in Nepean. The food quality here is as always excellent. But this location in particular has a different taste to it, much fancier, much more elegant, the decoration, the wall paintings, the chairs and tables. Must visit.

Good brunch place in little Italy

Excellent dessert! Was too crowdy for my choice, but a fun atmosphere and great service!

Desserts were nice because they weren't too sweet, but they were subpar in their quality. The black forest cake had no cherry sauce, and the sponge was dry. We asked for an Americano and they forgot about it and it wasn't until we reminded them again that they realized they had left it on the counter. They did make us a fresh one eventually. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and with lots of seating.

I love everything about this place. Great pastry always so fresh. Love getting a cortado here as well.

A small cozy coffee shop in the Little Italy of Ottawa. Beautiful and delicious pastry. Sadly the light roast coffee had almost zero acidity which I always look for. That is the one star down for me. The staff is friendly but they do not serve you at the table. It could use a bit of extra work on... at least wiping the table between two customers.All in all a nice experience. I would prefer it over the Starbucks over the street anytime.

Good coffee. Excellent biscotti. I love the vibe upstairs it's fresh and light, but at the same time it could be haunted. Exactly what I'm looking for in a cafe.

I enjoy going there. Even with the ongoing situation, I like to take a pickup on my way.

I was there on Wednesday 29th of July for the first time around 5 pm the place was amazing and cozy. customer service was great, Barista was very funny and welcoming made me feel like i was talking to my friend. Her name was Laura very nice and made great cappuccino. I am very happy with this experience this cafe will be my number one cafe to go to.

My friend suggested this place particularly for the Lobster Tails. They're cream filled and deliciously flaky with a soft texture. I would definitely recommend the Lobster Tails as well as the biscotti. It is a cute little bakery with a drink menu (ranging from hot to cold drinks) and a cozy little place to sit and enjoy your sweet tooth!

Awesome hot chocolate. Best Nutella cheesecake in town! PS. They have great Valentine desserts.

Friendly staff, excellent deserts and cakes, people who lean towards European style sweets will appreciate those. Open late hours even on Weekends. Did I say how tasty their deserts: opera, tiramisu ..Newly renovated interior makes you feel like you are in Europe.

Delicious treats and tasty coffee. Good prices as well. We stopped by once for breakfast and once for treats after a bar - they were open until 11pm on Saturday!

Their cheesecakes are wonderfuly delicious but the store associate didnt warm up my bacon and egg croissant long enough. It was cold.

Pastries are absolutely delicious! Great portions, fresh and a great selection. Service could use some work, I went in with a friend we had a few questions about the flavors and ingredients and we recieved very snarky one word answers. Then one tray of pastries had the wrong name and when I pointed it out and asked if I could swap it she did not seem happy. And I got an eye roll.

Very quaint little coffee shop. Was an apartment at one time, so there's different rooms with sitting areas. Very good coffee and deserts. My only complaint was that it was hotter than a fox in a forest fire in there. Full facial sweating just sitting down lol.

By far my favourite place! Great service and love their pastries. My go to panini is the brie proscuitto! It is to die for. If you're on preston make sure you check this place out.

Very good desserts, so many options that you'll have to come back another time just to try them all. Lots of room upstairs to sit down and use the free WiFi while enjoying the desserts and coffee.

Very cute cafe on Preston, in an quaint house with vintage-style decor. Slightly tight quarters upstairs but allows for lots of seating. Large variety of cakes, cookies, other pastries, soups and sandwiches, and of course, coffee. Love that they are open so late. WiFi available. I would just encourage guests who are studying/working there to purchase food from the cafe if you are going to enjoy their space, and not bring in outside food!

Purchased an iced latte which was fantastic (Lavazza espresso) and I had the lunch combo which was filling and affordable. Will be back soon with my friends.

Newly renovated! This was my first time at Simply Biscotti this year. This place underwent a major change. The same wonderful pastries (perhaps a smaller selection than previously) and good coffee. Both floors have been renovated, it feels more like a Victorian Tea Parlour than your regular coffee shop. If this is too polished for you their large patio is open.

Really enjoy coming here and especially supporting local businesses. Cappuccinos and Americanos are great. Italian pastries are fresh and many options available. Try the lobstertail filled with fresh cream! To die for. Paninis and frittatas also available for lunch. Very nice staff. Large private patio space on side to relax and enjoy. The inside decor is classy- some 50s icons added. Unfortunately, will have to wait thru covid to enjoy inside
